Secure Shipping
You artwork is guaranteed to arrive in pristine condition. Depending on the item type and size, it will be shipped in either a carboard box, a crate or a tube.

Box
Stretched paintings of up to 48 inched (122 cm) and framed prints of up to 36 inches (100 cm) on the longest side are shipped a in sturdy, cardboard boxes. Expect your artwork to arrive securely packed and well-protected. Each artwork is shipped individually.

Crate
Larger artworks are shipped in crates. The crate will contain packaging materials that meet the strict guidelines for fine art shipment to keep your artwork firmly in place during its journey. A crate may include several artworks, which will be tightly secured within the crate.

Tube
Prints, drawings and unstretched canvases may arrive rolled in a dent-resistant tube. This method is accepted as especially safe for oversized artworks. Make sure to send any works on paper directly to a framer immediately after delivery for professional unrolling to prevent buckling.
Below is an example of the steps involved in a typical packing process.
Due to framing and size variations, packaging may vary slightly by adding more or less material required for safe transit.
Pigments and Substrates

01
Surfaces that are not framed under glass or plexiglass are wrapped with glassine paper, which is naturally pH-neautral and protects pigments and substrates.
Surface and Structure

02
Wrappped artwork is placed in between two foam boards to protect the painting surface and frame structure from impact.
Corners

03
Cardboard corner protectors are attached to prevent any damage to this sensitive area.
Insulation

04
The arkwork is then sealed in a plastic sleeve to protect from moisure and wrapped in bubble wrap for shock isolation.
Reinforcement

05
Depending on the painting size and framing options, additional protective layers may be added.
